At 6 weeks my jeans fit tight. By 3 months I was back to pre-op clothes or maybe down a size. It takes along time for the swelling to go down.---

I guess I am one of the lucky ones....for now....I am able to wear my pre-op jeans w/ a belt. I am 12 days PO.  The rubbing of the top of the jeans is a little uncomfortable on my sore tummy, but I can fit into them better than I did before surgery.  I have one pair that are "low riders" and they hurt my incision so I haven\'t wore them.  However, from what I have seen on here that is always subject to change and I could start swelling at any given moment....SO I am just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Give it time...I am sure you will be into your pre-op clothes before you know it!\":-)\"---

Jodie\'s right - use the search function about that. \"\"

I was back in my jeans for a lunch date with friends at three weeks PO, but I stripped right outta them when I got home.  I was very swollen off and on for all these 7 months, but nothing too bad since weeks 8 - 11.

Hang in there, and don\'t get discouraged - this too shall pass! \";-)\"---

Everyone is different.  I\'m one of the lucky ones that could fit into my preop jeans last week.  This week they\'re too big.  I\'m down about 5lbs since surgery.  It also helps that he sucked out 3lbs of fat off my hips!!LOL.  I saw PS today and he said I really would see any results from lipo until around 3mos.  But I think it really take sup to 1 year.  Don\'t worry the swelling will go down.  There was another person at the Dr. who had a TT the same day as me and she wasn\'t in her preop clothes yet either.  Hang in there.\";-)\"---

I\'m so glad you said that because I\'m 30 days PO and I\'m still relegated to baggy sweatpants (or preferably nightshirts). I tried on my pre-op favorite jeans (size 14) and they were definitely looser around the waist but the rubbing against my skin was almost unbearable.

I think that lipo plays a big difference, too.  After the swelling goes down, people who have had lipo of hips/flanks/thighs are going to fit smaller sizes than those who had a tummy tuck only.

Anyway, I put my size 8 jeans on yesterday, and then took them right off LOL.  I was just happy they went on.  But ooh, they bugged my incision!---

Be Really Calm!!  It took me awhile...now my pre-clothes are loose and I can wear a size smaller.  It takes time for all the fluid to shift and for things to settle!  I also had trouble wearing my binder under...once I switched to spanx, things fit better.  the binder took space!---

I don\'t think that I am the norm...but none of my pre-op cloths fit me correctly anymore. I have gone down immediately at least one to two sizes. Yippee! Hoping to go down even further once all the swelling is gone. Fingers are crossed.---

Everyone seems to be so different when it comes to fitting into pre-op clothing.  I was lucky and fit into mine right away, but for others it can take several months.  Hang in there and it\'ll get better before you know it.\":-)\"

It took 8 weeks to get back into my clothes. Swelling plays a big part in this. Be patient, you will get back into your clothes.---
