» Thanks and good luck!Your lips are gorgeous by the way!Very natural! Was it
» done under general anaesthesia and was it like that from the
» beginning??thanks!!!

Thanks :)
I did not have general anesthesia, he used local. It wasnt bad at all, he just numbed me up and did the procedure. It took about 45 min to complete, and I didnt feel anything.  It took about two weeks before my lips looked normal though.  they were very swollen and bruised for the first couple weeks but that was mostly from the advanta. as far as the lip lift, the only thing that looked funny was the stiches and they came out in one week.
let me know if you have any other questions

LIP LIFT question

» HELLO!A question for all the ladies that had a lip lift.
» I am considering lip-lift as a permanent solution.Do you recommend
» it??Also does it leave any scars???Are you satisfied in general??
» thanks for any input.

Hi, I had a lip lift a year and half ago and I am pleased with my results. I had what the doctor reffered to as "lip advancement" I had both my upper and lower lip done. I am very happy with my bottom lip it looks great, and is much larger than before. My top did not do so well it was not lifted high enough and it looks almost the same as before. I do have a tiny scar but you cant notice it unless you are looking for it. I also had advanta implants put in at the same time. Im now interested in getting silikon 1000 to add some more volume to my top lip. here is a link to my before and after pictures

» Yes,I do!Thank you that you share your experience.
» Do you think that before your lip-lift the distance beween your  lips and
» nose had a bigger than normal distance or you just needed more tooth
» show??It seems that it has helped you.How much did this cost you ?? Is
» your sugeon experienced in this prosedure??The prosedure called  butterfly
» lip is what my PS used this term for it and the clinique I prepare to do it
» is in Belgium(I live near).
» What concerns me most is the possiblity that it will return previous
» state.I ve heard it happen from women in this forum.

I did have a large gap between my lips and nose, I would say larger than most. the distance is shorter now after the lift, but my top lip is still smaller than I would like it. I went to see Dr. Rousso in Birmingham, Alabama. He specializes in facial surgery. his website is www.drrousso.com
the total cost for my lip advancement was $2400 but that was for top and bottom so im sure it would be less for just top. that fee included local anesthesia.
