I feel as though my eye teeth, or canines, are rather big for my smile. I underwent braces in jr. high (I am now finishing college), and ever since then have felt unhappy about my smile, as the eye teeth were pulled down to be straighten with the rest of them. Now the eye teeth make it appear too wide, and it feels and looks stretched. Before braces, even with the crooked teeth, I always felt happy and confident in smiling. It never looked artifical or stretched. I had heard that there were procedures for narrowing or reshaping teeth, and thought perhaps this would help, as its the eye teeth, that with their size, stand out the most. What should I ask for, and how safe are these to the structure and strength of the teeth? Thanks so much!
