SO i just had the Labia reduction procedure done about a week ago, and now I am very worried. there are hard bumps were the stiches used to be, are these gonna go away eventually? How long does it take for all the swelling to go down? If anyone can reply with their post operation experience so I can compare, I would really appreciate it.

, I was wondering if you had your surgery with Dr. Stern and how your overall experience went. Thanks!

Im new to this message board and I hope I am doing this right.  Anyway, I had the labia reduction surgery one week (and two days) ago.  Today is the first day I feel decent- I can actually sit at my desk.
I too am concerned about the hard bumps- they are pretty ugly and not to mention a bit painful.
At my request he finally prescribec lidocaine (sp?) and it doesnt do a thing in terms of numbing.  Im wondering if I can use a scar reducer like neosporin?  Or is that area too sensitive?
Thanks!

girlygirl.  I was wondering if you had your surgery done with Dr. Stern.  I will have the surgery in a few weeks and was going to take a week off from work.  After hearing that you are just now able to sit at your desk, I am thinking maybe more than a week would be better.  I have a lot of tissue that will need to be removed, so I\'m worried this will take longer to recover than I thought.  Have you recovered more from the bumps?  Are you happy with the results??  Thanks for all of your help!  Heather

e bumps go away after 3 weeks. The sore feeling to the touch takes about 4 weeks, maybe more.

It has been like 2 months for me, and it feels just like before. I dont even think about it anymore.

Most likely you still have some of the stiches left.  Remove them with twezeers.
