am an Asian male in mid 30s with light tan skin. About five years ago I had laser resurfacing done on skin below the eyes in hopes to get rid of some fine lines there. But ever since I am left with discolored skin in the treated area with blotchy look. Lines under the eyes reappeared within a year or so of treatment and seem worse with added attention they get.
It\'s been almost a nightmare, I wish I had stuck with using retin-a only that worked pretty good prior to to this major step. Since then I have learnt about possible complications for asian skin and that resurfacing is not a good remedy for lines caused by underlying deep squinting muscles. I am trying to incorporate regular workout and other good habits for stress reduction. Is there anything I can do for the discolored skin and lines below eyes ( not crow\'s feet but lines below inner corners of eyes) at this stage? Using Retin-A helps the lines a bit but not discolored skin which has scarred redish-grayish look different from rest of face? Am I left with this for rest of life? Please help with any suggestion.
Thanks
John
