Tummy tuck recovery

had mine in May of last year. You really need to take it easy for the first couple of weeks...the first week you are going to spend most of the time in bed and you will probably need some help. Driving after the first week?....short distances maybe. Good Luck!

may have a tummy tuck in the near future and was wondering how do you feel after a week and how long before you are able to drive.  Just trying to plan around family stuff.

Thanks!

had mine in August.  I was in EXTREME pain for about two days.  I was actually thinking, what the *&^% did I do?  But after the third day, the pain was manageable.  I went back to work after a week but that was a BIG mistake.  You will have a lot of \"heaviness or soreness\" in your abdomen for several weeks.  (I did.) but I stopped pain meds after about a week.  The last few days it was just Motrin.  I drove about 3-4 days after.  Painful?  YES-it was awful!  Worth it?  EVERY PENNY!!
