u probably went under the knife already but if you haven\'t, some concerns you should have about multiple procedures have to do with the amount of time you will be unconscious for - ask your surgeon. Multiple procedures are ok and done all the time but you shouldn\'t be under for too long. Also, if you are having multiple procedures, having the surgery in a hospital instead of office is the safest insurance...if something does go wrong, like your blood pressure gets wacky (not uncommon in surgery) you have the advantage of a full staff to deal with the crisis in a positive way...
also, ask your Doc how many multiple procedures he/she does...Letting a Doc know you are concerned and can articulate your concerns is ALWAYS a good idea...good luck

ar anonymous,
When I consulted with docs for my eyelid surgery, one of them walked into the room and immediately told me I needed other stuff done...He didn\'t even talk about my eyes...!!! That irritated me so much that I knew he was not going to operate on me...Sometimes, and I\'m not saying ALL the time, but sometimes, some surgeons, once they have you in their office, will suggest other procedures to patients and sometimes patients will opt for more than what they originally intended to do...Cheek implants with nose jobs are fairly common..This would be my concern...if you don\'t want the shape of your nose changed but you only want its size reduced, ask him why cheek implants are needed...he may give you a very good reason...you may have the kind of bone structure in your face that once your nose size is reduced, it will throw off the rest of your proportions...A very famous plastic surgeon who has stellar credentials was asked about facial implants and what he said in a national magazine interview recently went something like this: \"Unless it\'s absolutely necessary, I don\'t put plastic parts in faces...\"
I would suggest you get another opinion. If you have 2 MD\'s saying the same thing then I\'d consider it BUT remember this, you are a young girl, you have plenty of time...so you might want to get the nose done, live with it for a while and then get more done when YOU think it\'s time. Hope this helps and keep me posted.
