\'m 23 years old,I\'m going to have a nose job, lipo on inner and outter thighs, and breat implants all at once. the two main reasons are (1) an extreem fear of needles (2) it will save me about 3,000$ to do it all at once. The docotor assures me this is safe but i am concerned. Am i doing the right thing? what can i expect? ANY responce will be greatly appreciated.

ll, you probably would have to deal with a lot of discomfort for a while. But I guess having it done all at once would mean you wouldn\'t have to go back several times and take time off while you recover (if time is an issue).

My only concern is if that is safe. Will there be more complications? Will your recovery be more difficult because of all the changes to your body? I would get a second opinion.

Of course, money IS an object...

ll, I am no doctor, yet, but I think having 1 surgery is hard enough on your body, I cant imagine 3!
I dont know how your immune system would handle that, i would think that there would be an increased risk of infection because your systems would be so exhausted.
Both of my hands have \'severe carpel tunnel\' which is going to require surgery on both. I was thinking myself that I could get my nose job done while sedated for one of them! I am surely not going to get both hands done at the same time... How would I even get dressed... The Canadian Medical System will pay for necessairy surgeries but draws the line with elective surgeries.
I guess I am getting off the topic. I know what it is like to have many things going on with your body at once and it is SOOO tiresome and has proven to increase the recovery time. I guess on the positive side of it is you can only focus on one pain at a time, and saving a few months salary cant hurt either!

ere is no way a surgeon would recomend all of those surgeries at once.  I think it is hard enough to get through one procedure let alone 3.  Money is not the issue anyway - it\'s your health.  I have been planning my surgery for a while and have saved up my money but the most important factor for me was finding a qualified surgeon.  I think you should get a second opinion.  That\'s what I did and it made me feel really good about my decision.  Your surgeon should be able to suggest another to go and see.  Don\'t be afraid to ask.  You\'re puting your money and your life on the line.

artgirl, I dont think you are so smart.  Of course money is an issue when you are getting things done.  3000 bucks is mucho dinero for a 23 year old - to save it will be great.  And if she is going under, it will save her from later anesthetic.

Shirogirl - what does your doctor say?
